The competition has two categories; photography and literature with good prizes up for offer. The Australian cricket team have hit back in the test series against England, the series is now 1-1 with one game to go

My beloved Newcastle Knights (rugby league) have been playing terrible, 4 weeks ago the coach/manager announced he was leaving next year to coach a rival club and the team havnt won a game since . They are now in 9th position which is out of play off contention

The Newcastle Jets did give me some to be happy about winning their opening game of the season against the NZ Wellington Phoenix 3-2

Very recently i was astounded and very flattered by my close DA friend Laura.
Laura wrote me a note some time back and said (paraphrasing)"Matt, i havnt done any portrait drawing before but i would like to draw you, using the yr10 picture of you in your ID pic".
Ive never been drawn before, i felt special and bashful at the same time that Laura wanted to draw me, even though it was retro me. I uploaded the pic that Laura wanted to draw to my scrapbook and ....... CHECK THIS OUT ......
  
how good is that, as i said i was astounded. Laura you absolutely have a great natural talent, just make sure i get a signed work when you're rich and famous

Lance Armstrong OMG OMG, this guy is superman and inspiration X 10, after all he went through with cancer etc etc, goes on to win 7 tour de frances he retires, then only to promote his charity organisation "LIVESTRONG" he re-enters the tour de frances. After 4 rounds he is coming 2nd and it's only less than a second that he isn't leading. He isn't his teams leader but is it possible this superhuman could do it again?
How good is Roger Federer ??? I thought i was lucky to see Pete Sampras in my lifetime, i thought he was the best tennis player i would see then Roger comes along just at the end of Pete's career and outdoes him and counting ...

I'm so sorry everyone i havnt been on much lately. Last week was really busy, then friday i started feeling feverish and all weekend it has either been bed or the lounge (everyone knows how bad man flus are), it's Sunday night now and it's the first time ive been on in about 5-6 days so i'm really sorry i'm so far behind in my replies, thank yous and deviations. I really like thanking everyone personally for a favourite, i'll do my best but if i dont get through them all thank you so much everyone for recent favs, the encouragment is awesome and so much appreciated.
